Tom Hawkes Hired as Chief Technology Officer

Hawkes is an experienced healthcare leader with nearly 20 years of expertise across the value-based care spectrum. As Chief Technology Officer, he will oversee Strive’s technology strategy, innovation roadmap and IT infrastructure to support care delivery and business operations.

His previous roles include serving as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Product Officer at Caravan Health and Senior Vice President of Product at Signify Health, where Hawkes supported over 200 health systems and 1 million patients in Medicare Shared Savings Programs and Accountable Care Organizations. He played a key role in the acquisition of Caravan Health by Signify Health and the subsequent sale of Signify to CVS Health. Hawkes’ experience also includes leadership positions at Kaiser Permanente, the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, The Queen’s Health System and Queen’s Clinically Integrated Physician Network.

“I’m excited to join Strive at this pivotal moment in healthcare transformation,” Hawkes said. “I look forward to helping the team leverage technology to improve patient outcomes, reduce inefficiencies and advance value-based care.”

Amit Trivedi Joins as Chief Actuary

Trivedi brings nearly 30 years of experience in actuarial science, underwriting and medical economics — with expertise in Medicare Advantage, value-based contracts and population health strategy. As Chief Actuary, he will lead Strive’s actuarial team, overseeing pricing, risk management and financial modeling to support the organization’s value-based care programs and sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Strive, Trivedi served as Chief Actuary at several prominent healthcare organizations, including Beacon Health Options, Prospero Health, Landmark Health and Tomorrow Health. His background also includes leadership roles at Evolent Health and Oliver Wyman.

“Joining Strive represents an opportunity to apply actuarial science in innovative ways that positively impact healthcare outcomes,” Trivedi said. “I look forward to working with this talented team to develop robust risk management strategies and pricing models that support sustainable growth so Strive can continue to transform kidney care for the better.”
